Steelhead Water Polo is a club program. It is a fun and competitive club program focused on developing players who love the sport of and who want to compete in water polo. Practices are designed to be focused on developing water polo skills so that players can continue advancing their knowledge and love of the sport and be prepared to compete in water polo games/tournaments.

Sessions are offered throughout the year! The more opportunities players have to experience the game, the more the players will develop their water polo skills. Please refer to Programs for more details about current and upcoming sessions!

The Idaho State High School Water Polo Season, for both boys and girls, starts in early November and runs through February.

YES! We encourage all athletes who are comfortable swimming to come out for water polo. Please email us at info@steelheadwaterpolo.com and we will get you all set for a trial practice!

Yes. All players must be able to safely swim 25 yards of freestyle unassisted. Water polo is played in deep water where the bottom of the pool cannot be touched.

Please do! One of the best ways to help grow water polo is sharing your love of water polo with your friends! Friends are always welcome to try a free session. Please have the friend’s parent email us at info@steelheadwaterpolo.com and we will set everything up for a trial practice.
